About Me

I wanted to create and continue building a brand that reaches all demographics and inspires all.  I was born and raised in Detroit.  While growing up in Detroit as a kid, I encountered many challenges and obstacles which could have resulted in a completely different path for me – a much harder path.  Despite various challenges, I always believed that I had something inside of me that would not let me fail.  I believed that there was something pushing me to be greater than my circumstances.  My determination and thoughts were bigger than my surroundings, and I believed that my potential was boundless.  I was fortunate to have my grandparents who instilled great values in me and helped me become the man that I am today. 

I eventually left Detroit and planted roots in Chicago in 1995, when I came to Chicago to study law.  While being an attorney is a career that I truly enjoy and one that has been professionally and personally rewarding, I never abandoned my childhood desire to create something great and build a legacy.  The M.E.E. brand represents what I’ve always stood for – to motivate myself to always strive for greatness (and be motivation for others); to always strive to elevate my knowledge, and my game; and to eliminate negativity so that I can be my best self.  

M.E.E. – Motivate (yourself + others); Elevate (your knowledge, your game); Eliminate (negativity).

The road to get to where I am in life was not always smooth, and I didn’t always have an easy path.  But one thing I did have was mental fortitude and resilience.  I always had the mindset to want to do something great, something impactful. This is why I created the M.E.E. brand.  My journey continues with M.E.E. bringing you a brand to inspire you to believe you can achieve whatever you want in life.
